Gambling, RVs, Heroes and The Prestige
Just checking in with a brief update. I’m still playing blackjack and trying to learn Cipher. I’ve had good days and bad days, I have lost some money and made some money. The issue is right now that I have the nomenclature down for using this program, but I only have one of three techniques down. I have to master all three, before I can begin winning consistently on almost every session.
In other news, I am researching the contract issue with my RV on eBay idea. There are some legal issues that need to be addressed, and I have been researching them on the Web. I’ve also gotten some good feedback from James, as to what I should put in this contract to protect myself at the time of closure. I’m still not sure this idea will work, but I’m still willing to give a try. The cool thing about the eBay idea is that by only selling one or two things I can finance my gambling endeavors for the next few months.
I haven’t been looking at too many boats recently. Although this seems to be the best season to look at them. All the prices I’m seeing on eBay are about two thirds of what they were back in the Spring. I’m more focused at this point on rebuilding my bankroll than necessarily getting back out to sea.
Two entertainment items of note: if you haven’t seen the new show, Heroes, on NBC — you must check it out on Sunday. The first three episodes are being rerun, and it really is a very cool show. The best way to describe it is to say that it’s X-Men meets Unbreakable. Although some of the writing is uneven, right now it is a more entertaining show than Lost. Or perhaps even Battlestar Galactica.
The other cool thing I’m really interested in this week is the new movie, The Prestige. It is directed by Christopher Nolan, the man who directed Batman Begins, and stars Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale and Scarlett Johansson. It looks to be a very cool movie about magicians, and I’m looking forward to seeing it. Evidently, even David Bowie makes an appearance as Nikola Tesla!
So I’ll still be putting up more cool stuff this week. And I haven’t forgot about the pictures and the home videos. I had some home videos of the Ren Faire, but I’m talking over parts of them. So I’m not sure if I’m going to still edit them and put them up.
Stay tuned, traffic is growing again in its cool to see all the backward links coming in. Hope to see more comments from you as well!

Hello!
I was hoping to listen to your clips of Becky Barry, but where you said to click on them does not link to anything. (When I hover the mouse over them, it’s just regular text). KMTT the Mountain (radio station) in Seattle linked me to your site.
Thank you!
Kelley

Hi Kelley,
The Becky calls are in streaming audio format. you should see a small yellow button with a triangle. That is where you press play, and the player extends. After a few moments of buffering, depending on your connection, the audio should start to play.
If you don’t see the player, it probably means that you do not have the Flash player plug-in installed in your browser.
