I couldn't escape the song in my head and how I empathized with JoAnn when she sang the song ILO Eddie who couldn't do it due to the tragic loss of his friend and bandmember. So I was determined to look up the words to the song, but came across this site. For me the tender years was another time and place when things were different, perhaps simpler, but above all they were memorable. Maybe it was because of things like being in love, sharing a secret with your best friend, being part of something bigger and better. Those memories return when hearing a song like "Tender Years".
