Everyone loves our Becky, the 8 year old prank caller from Dublin, Ireland. Becky is quite the little Irish charmer and my first article on her is currently getting over 90,000 hits per week!

Got the “School Demo Man†clip sent to me on e-mail yesterday afternoon and listened to it with some of my work colleagues. We laughed so much that we ended up on the floor for about 20 mins, before e-mailing it round the whole office that in turn did the same. This girl is pure magic and its great to see a web page for her with more of these brill calls.
Hope that there is more to come, don’t think we have ever laughed so hard in our lives and we are all totally hooked now !!!

Omigosh Becky ! Are you for real ? I was in the states & in the UK in 1980s.(well, quite a long time before your dad became that big as an elephant ! )
The world could surely use your brand of humour. Then the B B C Radio 4 had a programme called the ‘weekending’ at 10.35 pm, Friday nights, with Bill Wallis , Sheila Tate,Geoffrey Mc Givens. They were absolute crackers. You beat them hands down and sure bring a smile to all that listen to you.
You are almost therapeutic. Keep them coming dear.

I received the demolition prank call via e-mail. My wife and I nearly wet ourselves. Have never laughed so much in my life. Little Becky is a STAR. She should have her own TV show or her own website. Becky is a natural! I’m a veteran listener of many North American pranksters such as Junkyard Willie, Roy D. Mercer, and Erik Verducci,–Becky is in their league at 8 years young!! The call to the French hotel is especially hilarious–Roy Mercer makes a call like this too, and the clerk is just as rude. Becky puts him in his place…!

Hey Becky,
I heard of you on the radio and it was the one about the crane you needed for your dad to get off the coach. My dad was talking at the time and I told him to “shhhhhh’s” because I heard this amazing voice and it started to be halarious. Since then we have looked for you on the net to see stuff about you. At first I thought you name was little betty and then I thought it was little becky and I was right. I don’t know how you started this but I’m happy you did. I think you shold go on to 92.5 and you’ll get alot more famous. I saw you had you holly communion so did I. I think it was in October my b’day month.

When we saw her picture we thought she was absolutely adorable and that she looked like such a little angel. We have to wonder how she got into all of this stuff with the prank calls, haha. Just recently I’ve had the pleasure of comeing across an audio clip of becky on I-Am-Bored.com. She was trying to tear down her school and it was the most helarious thing EVER! This cute little inocent eight year old girl calling up to demolish her school, as every kid will say they want to do. The accent is what makes it all the more helarious for people like me who live in America. Americans are always facinated by those wonderful accents and how intrawled we get when we hear them. I hope that becky never loses her spunk and keeps makeing us laugh with her cute accent and crazy anticdotes. ;3 It just never seem to get old no matter how many times I hear it.

What a funny kid! My husband sent me the links for Becky’s pranks. We both enjoyed her so much. We live in Seattle, and so it’s a long ways from Dublin, but since I’m part Irish, her accent was music to me. I answer phones all day, and I wish someone like her would call me instead of some of the unfriendly people that do now. Blessings to ya, girl!

after a lot of searching ive managed to find the web site where you can download little beckys calls :

right click on the link then “save target as” click save and away you go
there are 10 calls on there all except for demolition. however, I have a copy of that one on mp3 if you want me to mail it. please contact me on tlucas3411@yahoo.co.uk and i will be more then happy to send it.

Becky’s brother Warren just emailed me back to say plans are afoot to release a Little Becky CD in 2007. However these plans are still in the early stages and he will inform me of any developments.
Becky is still making calls on 98fm in Dublin and she recently appeared on a national afternoon chat show as a guest. The segment featured footage of Becky making a call and being interviewed. If I can get my hands on the footage, I’ll post it here on johntedwards.com.
