First Day of Spring actually “Springy”
Surprisingly for eastern Pennsylvania, the first day of Spring was actually warm and pleasant - downright spring-like. I got to run errands today with the top down on the car for the first time in forever. 67 degrees felt pretty damn great as I lost the jacket and drove down into town.
I shipped off the last of my Sirius radio stuff that I sold on eBay and sent back a crappy, counterfeit Bluetooth headset that I’d also purchased on eBay. After making a bank deposit, I enjoyed a nice leisurely drive back up to the house.
After parking and putting the top back up, it started to rain literally a half hour later - good timing! Anyway, it’ll be semi-crappy and semi-cold for another week until it hits the high 60s again next Friday.
It’s days like today I regret the seeming inevitability of selling my car. I can’t make the payments anymore and there’s money tied up in it that I could get back by selling. But it sucks to have to go back to a coupe after these past three years.
Anyway, it looks to be a good weekend and I’m heading back down to the home theater to re-enter the world of Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, a game that should be criminalized by the DEA, as it is more addictive than crack cocaine.
