Hi,

Although I'm not a believer in any religion, the following argument is perfectly wrong:

"All religions represent a weakness of the mind..."

It's just the opposite: all religions represent the power of the human mind. Look into any product of human mind and you'll find religion in the roots. Most of the great philosophers, scientists, musicians, painters, writers, poets etc. in history came out of religion in any culture.

In fact, almost everything human-made owe to religion; think astronomy, physics, mathematics, arts...

Finally again, most of the contributions to 'Reason' in the history is made by religious scholars. For the ones interested in western culture, go read some Socrates, Thomas Aquinas, Hegel... to find out what I'm talking about; or simply read some Umberto Eco (who is an agnostic) to see how important religion is to mankind.

All religions represent a weakness of the mind in the thinker in question. Get over yourself and try living in a reality where there is no sky bully to tell you what to do or fairytale narrator to explain how the universe works.

hey man, all relegions are essentially good and preach good things, there are bad people and extremists from all races and religions, I dont think the blind bashing of one religion or the other is going to help anyone my friend. Please try to preach a message of peace and harmony, learn about the religions of which you speak before spreading hate and mistruths.
