Being angry all the time is tiresome. But, until things get better….

This looks amazing. It’s the first film by director Peter Jackson following his Lord of the Rings masterpiece trilogy. Adapted from the novel, this looks to be a remarkable film about a girl who is raped and murdered, yet maintains a connection to the living world, watching over her family.

A lot on my mind today as I find myself at the first crossroads of my trading career, discarding an old strategy and trying to learn (gulp) three new ones. My efforts so far have been decidedly mixed and some discouragement is setting in. However, even with the sky typically overcast on yet another Pennsylvania day, I find I must stay the course. There simply are no other alternatives; I must excel at this, it is what I feel I am destined to do.

It is always on days like this I find my thoughts drawn as murky as the gray sky. Listening to the collection of Leonard Cohen music I had on my HD (which I have not heard in a long time), I recall how much I  felt the emotion of this song.

Looks like one of my favorite shows about movies is getting a new look and with both of the critics I’d originally hoped Roger Ebert would have chosen to replace Siskel years ago. This is looking good and it’s time to add AtM to my TiVO once again.

I am pumped and very happy after my first week of forex trading. I started off rocky by stupidly trying to trade the British Pound on a bank holiday for them. But after a few losses here and there, I ended up doing much better than most noobs, actually increasing the balance of my trading account by 10% on the week.

Not bad for my first week, right?
