Alexandra
was born in New York to a wealthy family which owned one of the
largest investment firms in New York. Coming from old money,
Alexandra’s wealth was already secured in investments and trust funds.
She attended the finest private schools
in the country. However, she had little contact with her parents. Her
only family interaction came from her grandmother, who enthralled her
with tales of her Druidic ancestors.
As a teenager, Alexandra isolated
herself from most other people her age. Inspired by her grandmother’s
stories, she took up the study of Druid rituals. These studies quickly
expanded to include various other forms of occult.
After finishing preparatory school,
Alexandra spent a year traveling the world. During this time she
discovered her love for art and had her first taste of Egypt.
With a new found passion for art,
Alexandra sought out the finest universities to expand her skills and
knowledge. Her skills increased rapidly, but she soon realized
something was missing. Alexandra’s work, while exceptionally crafted,
lacked inspiration and originality. After accepting her absence of a
muse, she turned her studies towards her second passion, Egypt.
Fascinated
by the artwork and culture of ancient Egypt, Alexandra found an outlet
for her artistic skills. She found beauty in the styles of the
artwork, sculptures and hieroglyphs. With her skills, she was able to
duplicate most anything she encountered.
Along with her study of the art forms,
Alexandra also delved into the history, culture and mythology of
ancient Egypt. Much to her surprise, she began to see similarities in
the mythology and her previous studies into the occult.
Alexandra, suspecting truth in what she
had uncovered, began intensive research of ancient Egyptian lore and
occult. During this time she met a man who was on the same path as
her. Even though his behavior and nature often disgusted her, she
found an ally in Fergus.
